Dear Listers! Are you ready for another «challenge» in Minnesota, or wherever this family ended up? Ingeborg Andersdotter Raaum, born in Jostedal, Luster Co., Norway Jan. 8, 1848, emigrated in 1901 from Sogndal and married at Sebeka, Wadena Co., MN Nov. 11, 1903 to a widower, Nels Peter Nordvall, born in Borgsjo, Sweden May 21, 1851. They farmed in Rockwood township near Sebeka, Wadena Co., MN where Nels died Apr. 16, 1924. Ingeborg survived him, but completely DISAPPEARS. I find her nowhere in 1930 or 1940, and she is not in the MNDI. I should mention she did have a son while still unmarried in Norway: * Anders Andersson aka Andrew A. Raaum, born in Luster Co., Norway Sep. 4, 1869, emigrated with his grandmother in 1883 to Buffalo Co., WI, but later lived for a while in Lac qui parle Co., MN as well as in Norway township, Roberts Co., SD where he purchased land in 1901.
