    3. Dear Sarah and other Listers! Was I ever delighted with your brilliant and quick reply, Sarah. Thanks a million for providing me with these obituaries. The Peter Allas one will provide for some «foot work», contacting cemetery and funeral home, but as it so often happens, one answer often creates two new questions, and so is it here: I realize that without specific dates it is probably almost impossible to get anywhere, but since I am so urgently in need of this information, I decided I would still try: Maye O’Brien was a sister of Fanny Lange, and I have searched a little bit around for her, finally discovering she was the bride of a marriage that took place at Benton Harbor, Berrien Co., MI on July 24, 1906 between: John Edward O’Brien, born in York Co., NE Aug. 20, 1879, aged 27, and Mary M. Monsen, aged 27, born in Chicago, IL, presumably Feb. 24, 1876(?), but always pretending being born about 1879/1880. Her parents were Jens «James», also known as «John» Monsen (born in Gaular Co., Norway Apr. 7, 1831) and Monsine Andrine nee Larson (born in Bergen, Norway May 18, 1836) - living in Chicago IL in 1880, but never found in later records! John was mostly a salesman, and he and Mary (or May) O’Brien lived 1910 at Leadville, Lake Co., CO, 1918 at Duluth, St. Louis Co., MN, 1920 at St. Paul, Ramsey Co., MN and 1930/1940/1942 (and probably also later?) at Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI. They had no children. ** Is it possible to find obituaries for John Edward and/or Mary/May O’BRIEN in Milwaukee, WI after 1942 (him) and after 1948 (her)? ** Is there any chance that Mary/May MONSEN and her parents can be located in records between 1880 and 1906 - like for example in the 1900 census? As far as Peter Allas is concerned, I am basically interested in tracing his wife, Elizabeth Cecelia ALLAS/ALAS, born in Valley Co., MT July 6, 1887. She is supposed to have died in Milwaukee, WI about 1962! ** Is it possible to find an obituary for Elizabeth ALLAS/ALAS in Milwaukee, WI? Thanks again for your wonderful assistance in these matters!
