Dear Listers! I am "stuck" on a family in La Salle Co., IL. Can someone help me? The 1880 census for Rutland township, LaSalle Co., IL shows this family: CANUTSON, Ole 33 IL Nor Nor farmer CANUTSON, Anna 28 IL Nor Nor wife IRGENS, Fredericke 4 IL Nor IL stepdaughter I believe Ole and Anna's roots go back to Rennesoy or Aardal in Rogaland; only Fredericke's father had a connection to Luster Co., Norway! Ole Canutson of LaSalle Co., IL, son of Jens Knutson and Margretha Johnson, and Anna Irgens nee Brevig of LaSalle Co., IL, daughter of Henry Brevig and Sonova Johnson were married in LaSalle Co., IL on July 18, 1878. Now I have searched ancestry.com, FamilySearch and Find-a-grave looking for this family, but to no avail. I just don't find any trace of them at all after 1880! Can anyone please help me?
