This is another family member from the one I inquired about a day or two ago. Ole and Marthe had this daughter before they got married. I realize it's the third illegitimate child he's fathered and her first illegitimate child, but I need someone to fill in the blanks for words I've missed with a transcription and a translation. Also, what do the two ending notes on the far right say? Born 3 April 1854, baptized 9 April 1854, Kristina [Olsdatter], illegitimate birth; Parents are Ungkarl Ole Pedersen Berge, __, 23 years old, 3rd Leiermaal __ __ __ __, Pige Marthe Larsatter, Skagen, hmddatter, 26 years old, 1st Leiermaal. Digitalarkivet Birth/Baptism Record Source information: Sogn og Fjordane county, Luster, Parish register (official) nr. A 7 (1849-1859), Birth and baptism records 1854, page 48. Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8401&idx_id=8401&uid=ny&idx_side=-52 By the time Kristina/Christine is confirmed in 1869, she's living at Holmestad, her parents are married and living at Skagen (again; they were at Soldalen in the 1865 census), and her place of birth is listed as Skagen, which is where her mother was living when she was born. Several family members who emigrated, including Ole & Marthe, are on my radar as a twig off of a branch of my family. Someone inquired of a familiar name on another list that I knew was connected, and after I discovered the family was from Luster and she's from a different branch of the same family, I contacted Lars Oyane, and once he's done with the current volume he's writing, he will be working on an edited update on this family (and others) from one of his earlier volumes, and whatever info is found I will be sharing with a descendant of Ole and Marthe and also with Lars. Mange tusen takk in advance for your help! :-) Beste hilsen, Bev
