The man known as "Brit" was born in Illinois. His father was Ole Ingebriktsson of the Fatland farm (born 1819 or 1820) who immigrated to Illinois about 1849 and moved to central Iowa (Story County) in 1855. Ole died in Story Co. Iowa before 1900.
