Well, interesting question . . . the municipality was established in 1838, but has always been in Telemark I believe . . .  Sannidal and Skåtøy municipalities were merged with Kragerø in 1960.  If I'm not correct we will hear about it . . . ;o) Kragerø is currently in the Telemark fylke. Before 1918 what fylke was Kragerø in?
