John, my GGrandfather was from the farm Stoymyr, Søndeled, just over the border with Telemark in Aust Agder. I have distant cousins in Levang and Støle . . . one retired recently as the secretary to the priest in Kragerø. So in hunting records it helps to know the family fylke as well as town. The family name was Fermann in those days.
