Dear Listers, I have just learned that 1872 emigrant from Luster Co., Norway: Synneva Jenson, born in Hafslo parish, Luster Co., Norway Jan. 24, 1813, died near Astoria, Deuel Co., SD on July 22, 1910, at the age of 97, i.e. the church record of the Wood Lake Lutheran church says she died on July 52, 1910, and she was interred on July 26, 1910. We believe the correct death date was July 22! Synneva was widowed when she emigrated, and she left eight children whose whereabouts in 1910 would be of great interest!
