Hi there Listers, I am trying to find the birth records for my family von Printzen but unfortunately am unable to find my way around the system. I have been told they may have come from Kristiansand but I am not sure. My three relatives were all born in Norway. The births I am looking for are: Birgitte Cathrine von Printzen who married a Captain Peter Helmich who died on 21 Feb 1738 at Fredrickstad. If her death notice from Denmark is correct, then she would have been born around 1692. Friedrich Wilhelm von Printzen was, from his naval records, born in 1697 and he also died in Denmark in 1748. Otto Henrik von Printzen was born in 1701 in Kristiansand and died in 1761 at 60 years of age. I believe his body was interred on 20 November 1761 at Vor Freisers Kirke.
