    3. Edward - I concur with Clark, except the spelling of the farm as I see it is Vardø Henriknæsset. The mark over the last letter of Vardo means the spelling is Vardø. I am not absolutely certain of the first part of the second name of the farm, but the last part I believe is ...riknæsset. The beginning letters could be Hen or Kve. Næsset, Nesset, Neset, other variants, means "peninsula." [It's common in my ancestral lineage in a different area of Norway, so I'm used to seeing many spelling variants.] Beste hilsen, Bev ----- Original Message ----- From: C&M Pederson via <norway@rootsweb.com> To: EDWARD A SCRIVEN <eascriv@msn.com>; norway@rootsweb.com Cc: Sent: Sunday, May 17, 2015 10:14 PM Subject: Re: [NOR] Place name help Hei, Edward. Searching for the farm name, I instead found what I believe to be your Elen Andreasen and her daughter Alfine / Alfild in the 1900-telling. "http://gda.arkivverket.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=17&filnamn=f01933&gardpostnr=263&sokefelt=skjul" I cannot find a farm name that comes close to what this looks like... "Vardo Henrikeasset?" Have a nice day!
