I Can anyone help me with this man. I find his baptism in Meldal 19 April 1847 born to Jon Jonsen and Berit Olsdatter. Then I find his marriage 8 April 1869 to Ingeborg Jørgendatter in Meldal.Then I cannot find him until 1900 when he leaves for America from Trondheim. I cannot find the birth of any children nor find him on any census. I believe he lived on Snoen farm (Rennebue?) as he take that last name in the US. I am having trouble finding his father also who lived at Stenshagen in Meldal I think. Thank you for any help. Virginia Lindsey

Where did you find the emigration record? I have not been able to spot them in records leaving Rennebu and I find no emigration records for Meldal in 1900.
