    3. Dear Listers, I have for a number of years tried to figure out what really happened to this young Norwegian-American lad from Dane Co., WI. I have just about solved the problem, but I need your help to possibly find newspaper clippings or other sources to document my findings: Severt L. Boyum, son of John and Randi Boyum of Bristol township, Dane Co., WI, was born in Dane Co., WI July 11, 1876. He eloped to Rockford, IL where on Dec. 28, 1910 he married Emma Maria Schroeder of German background, born in Columbia Co., WI Aug. 27, 1885. They moved to Duluth, MN where Severt worked as a milk delivery man. Three children were born, 1912, 1913 and 1915. Then about 1917 Severt left his wife and children. Emma Boyum returned to Madison, WI where she died Oct. 24, 1974. Under the name of Louis Nelson her husband shows up in the fall of 1918 (WW1 draft) as a laborer at Kenosha, Kenosha Co., WI, but soon thereafter he moved to Ft. Wayne, IN where he, according to the 1930 census, was married about 1924 to: Asa Bell aka Isabelle Metzger Fuchshuber Burnside. born in Putnam Co., OH Feb. 10, 1880 she married 1st time in Paulding Co., OH Mar. 29, 1898 to John Adam Fuchshuber - had three children she married 2nd time at Ft. Wayne, IN June 26, 1922 to William Burnside, born in Logan Co., OH Sep. 21, 1863 Louis Nelson worked at Ft. Wayne, IN as a cheese maker, and he and Isabelle remained at Ft. Wayne where Louis died Jan. 12, 1934. Isabelle Nelson died at Ft. Wayne, IN Nov. 19, 1966 and are buried together in the Lindenwood cemetery at Ft. Wayne, IN. My questions: * Can any evidence be found that Louis Nelson and Isabelle Fuchshuber Burnside was really married, and if so, date and place of this marriage? * Can obituaries be found for Louis Nelson (1934) and Isabelle Nelson (1966)? Thanks a million for your great assistance in this matter! Very sincerely yours, Lars E. Oyane
