    3. Dear Listers, Another individual who is so well hiding I cannot find her. Maybe your eyes are better than mine? Christiana aka Christie Boyum, born in Dane Co., WI May 31, 1868, first married in Madison, WI May 27, 1889 to John Irvin Peckham (1865-1950). I believe they lived in or near Madison, WI, but they divorced about 1895. second married at Rockford, IL Jan. 1, 1901 to Joseph Hubertus Rubbert (1865-1918). They lived on a farm in Falls township near Mason City, Cerro Gordo Co., IA, but after Joseph died Apr. 11, 1918, Christie moved to Beaver Dam, Dane Co, WI where she lived in 1920. We know Christie was still alive in 1925 (address unknown), but then she "disappears"! I should add that Christie had an only daughter: Ruby H. Rubbert, born at Plymouth, Cerro Gordo Co., IA Dec. 16, 1901, was married at Bloomington, Monroe Co., IN Aug. 10, 1929 to Noel Montgomery, born at Mecca, IN Sep. 14, 1904. The 1930 census shows this couple residing at Lapel, Madison Co., IN, but Christie Rubbert is NOT with them. Questions: * Can newspaper announcements be found regarding her divorce from John Peckham about 1895? * Can newspaper announcements or obituaries or even other records be found regarding Christie Rubbert's death after 1925? Thanks a million for any suggestions in regard to "long-lost" Christie! Very sincerely yours, Lars E. Oyane
