    3. Mange Tusen Takk, Reina, for posting the links! Scenery in Norway is very dramatic and beautiful..., and the bunads! I'm in love with bunader! One of the women was dressed in the blue version of a Nord-Trøndelag bunad. I recognized it from photos a fifth cousin sent when his youngest daughter was confirmed. The sisters all had the blue version on, and my fifth cousin's mother wore the red version. I am thrilled to also be able to understand a few words now and then, whether it's the people giving speeches or the opening song which I don't have to translate. Mostly it's location names (Slottsplassen I can translate to Castle place, or maybe even castle courtyard) and words we use in genealogy research, but still, I can pick out individual words like elsker deg, mor, far, barn, gamle, hjem, and the like, without having to look them up in a translating dictionary. I am forwarding the links to family members so they can also enjoy the day! Again, Mange Tusen Takk, Reina for the links!
