    3. Hi Lars, The Richland Center newspapers online aren’t available for the dates your looking for. • Richland County Observer (1855-1863) • Richland County Sentinel (1870-1870) • Richland Democrat (1904-1904) • Richland Rustic (1921-1921) • Richland Union Democrat (1881-1881) When I search the state, there’s 4,174 Results. Only two are before 1922. Evening Times Monday, March 26, and Friday, March 30, 1894, Monroe, Wisconsin List of Patents granted to Wisconsin inventors this week. J. Grauvogl, Plain, car coupling. (NOTE: Plain is a village in Sauk County,) There’s a Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Grauvogl in Rozellville, Marathon Co., but they don’t seem to show up until the 1930s. -Mark

    3. Here’s a woman from the area who has a collection of old photos online. You should be able to contact her. "My maternal great-grandmother and great-grandfather owned a bar in Plain, Wisconsin from about 1900 until 1940.”
