    3. Lars, Apparently Ruth and the children went back and forth to Norway because familysearch has them on numerous Passenger and Crew Lists. The address on the ones I looked at was Brooklyn, NY. This list says Borre and Gerd were born in Mandel, Norway, as was Ruth. https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1942-22093-12898-71?cc=1923888 Apparently the family traveled a lot, maybe because Charles was at sea. Gerd's marriage took place in Los Angeles, California. It looks like Borre also became a sailor. Annette On 5/6/15, Lars E. 3. Dear Annette, John, Hans and other Listers! Thanks a million for your additional comments on Charles Gudmundsen and his "endeavors". It sounds like he had a very interesting life, kind of "different" from most of the emigrant families which I am researching... Very sincerely yours, Lars E.
