    1. [NOR] Lofotens : Edvard Severin Sandberg Pedersen 1855 - 1946/7 Death ?
    2. Earl Sande via
    3. Great Grandfather Edvard Severin Sandberg Pedersen (or Peterson) returned to the Lofotens after living in Inwood, Manitoba, Canada for many years. Anecdotal information suggests a death date of 3 October 1946. However, my uncle recalls taking Edvard to the Winnipeg railway station in the summer of 1947 and in most cases his memory is extremely sharp. He fell coming off the ship taking him to the Lofotens and died at a Care Home after having been in the hospital in there. Edvard is buried near his wife Sara at Fredvang. I have tried both the Flakstad Church and the Archives at Trondheim. They suggested that Guds Menighet records (ie., Dissenters) records would be held only by that group. I have e-mailed the it's school there with no response. I have even tried to find the name of the hospital and care home in the remote chance they had an archive but no can not locate that. Any suggestion on locating the death information? Thanks Earl
