Dear Greg, Bev and other Listers! Thank you very much for your interesting messages in regard to the Pelto-Kuehmichel problem of mine! I didn't have much luck reaching anyone yesterday (on Memorial Day), but today I have talked to the cemetery as well as to the Funeral Home in Brainerd, MN, however, to no avail. I made an appointment to call back to the Funeral Home tomorrow, just in case that something shows up, but I am not too optimistic... However, this evening I was finally able to reach one of Ann Pelto Kuehmichel's nephews in Granite Falls, MN. He didn't know either, but he told me George and Ann (Pelto) Kuehmichel had adopted a daughter. He thought her name was Kay Kuehmichel, but he had lost track of her! It seems she married a Doctor and moved to California, but the last name was unknown! However, he would ask around, and maybe he could find out... I will call him again tomorrow as well! Or maybe someone on the list can in the meantime help me locate this Doctor's wife in California? I still need to contact the Trinity Lutheran church in Brainerd, MN, which I also intend to do tomorrow... So, I keep busy...! Thanks again for your great assistance with this problem!
