Nancy - The handwriting is different from most of the rest of the page, but since you sent the bottom link instead of the one right under the Source data, I can't compare it to any other page. I will go out on a limb and say that Iver [who lived at] Romfoe was an Engemant/d..., a Gothic alternate spelling of Enkemand [Enkemann = modern spelling], or widower. The ink blob covers much, but with the two lines before January, he may have either died or was buried on 11 January 1816, age 77 at death. Living at a Romfoe farm headed by Lars Iversen for the 1801 Norwegian Census was [#11, 12] Iver Toresen and his wife, Randi Olsdatter, listed as the father and mother of he head of household, and Iver Toresen is of the right age to be the one in the death/burial record. http://digitalarkivet.arkivverket.no/en-gb/ft/bosted_land/bf01058429000246 If you don't already have it, the death/burial record for Randi Olsdatter [living at] Romfoe would likely be found between 1801 and January 1816. You've delivered more than I asked for! I've recently discovered a mother lode of information about both my family and their farms through the help of Ms Tomren who sent me many pages of the Sunndal bygdebok. Thanks to everyone who responded!
