    1. [NOR] Erick A. Hill of Everett, WA - died in Portland, OR 1894? - newspaper notice?

    3. Dear Listers, I have for years tried to figure out what became of this gentleman: Erick Anderson HILL born in Hafslo parish, Luster Co., Norway Mar. 9, 1861 He emigrated in the late 1870's to Swift Co., MN had by 1887 removed to Everett, WA where he is recorded in 1887 and 1889. He then disappears! Find-a-grave has an interesting entry in the Lone Fir Pioneer Cemetery in Portland, OR: Erick HILL - no birthdate - died in April of 1894 Is there any way we can find out whether this be the same person? Maybe a news item from Portland, OR? Thanks a million for your great assistance in this matter! Very sincerely yours, Lars E. Oyane

    3. Dear Listers, I just made an unexpected discovery which may make the tracing of this Erick A. Hill somewhat easier: E. A. Hill of Snohomish Co., WA and Emma E. Holte of Snohomish Co., WA were married in Seattle, WA on Mar. 8, 1890 by Rev. C. O. Rosing! This has to be "my" Erick, but strangely enough, there is just nothing to be seen of this couple in any other sources. Maybe they moved directly to Portland, OR? Any suggestions would be more than welcome! Very sincerely yours, Lars E. Oyane ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On May 16, 2015, at 4:21 PM, Lars E.
