Sven is a bachelor who spends a lot of time over at Ole and Lena's, and he decides it's only fair that he should invite them over to his place for supper at least once. So he does, and they accept. Now, Ole and Sven go hunting and fishing together, so Ole is used to Sven's ways. But Lena is taken aback by Sven's stacks of old newspapers, magazines and cartons of empty bottles and cans. She doesn't say anything, though. Then Sven sets the table and starts to dish out the franks and beans. Lena looks down at her plate and then over at Ole's. "Sven, these plates seem to have a film on them. Are they clean?" Sven is hurt. "Lena, I guess they're about as clean as soap'n'water can get 'em," he says. Lena doesn't say anything more. Then Sven's big old dog puts his head in her lap and starts to beg for food. Lena says, "Sven, can you tell your dog to get down?" Sven says, "Soap'n'water! Down!"
