    3. Dear Lenise and other listers! Thank you very very much, Lenise, for sharing with me your reply from the Nebraska GenWeb. I would like to share this reply with the List: > "They are buried in Parkview Cemetery Hastings. Block M, lot 42. Parkview's web site lists the date of death for Charles as 12 July 1922. > > Copies of obituaries or death notices can be ordered from the Adams County Historical Society PO Box 102 Hastings, NE 68901 There is a $5 fee per > request." It just might be that someone on the list has a possibility to locate these obituaries of the Bercks in online newspapers now that we know they are buried at the Parkview cemetery at Hastings, NE, and we have a corrected death date for Charles Berck. Thanks again for your wonderful assistance in this matter! Very sincerely yours, Lars E. My friend Marilyn has walked both those cemeteries and recorded all the stones in both places and they are not there. SHe is also the one who checked the Howard County papers. I suspect that the Bercks are probably buried in the Hastings area, Adams County, since they are listed in the Hastings city directory in 1922. So your search for funeral homes would be better concentrated there. There are a lot of burials entered for Adams county in the find-a-grave data base but there aren't any Bercks listed, so I'm not sure if they moved again between 1922 and 1925 when Charles died, but their son Charles Herman was still living in Hastings in 1930 so I would be very surprised if they weren't buried somewhere near Hastings. > > I have put out a request for information to the Nebraska GenWeb county coordinators list to see if anyone can find anything and will pass on anything they come up with. > > > Lenise > > On Apr 4, 2015, at 1:34 PM, Lars E.
