If I were in your shoes, the first thing I'd do is get a copy of Einar's death certificate..., maybe also Gertrude's death certificate. I couldn't find any record of children for the two, and in US census data they're the only two in their household, so I doubt they had children. Since he was still young, he was probably still living with the same family. WWI Draft Registration Card indicates Einar S. Einer is the one who gave the info to the census enumerator. Einer is an auto mechanic at a garage in Fosston. MHS Death Certificate Index has Einar born "out of state" which seems to indicate he was born elsewhere. You'd have to get his death certificate to find out where he was born, and since he died in 1963, both his parents' names could very well be listed. His mother's maiden name is listed as Holt.
