I thought he might be Dutch too even though he gave his name as Anders Frederic De Hon for his naturalization nationality Swedish. Perhaps he gave his place of origin as Sweden because he signed on as a seaman there and worked his way to the UK. If he was Swedish I think De Hon was perhaps an assumed name. His children's births have been registered under several spellings Anders/Andrew/Alexander de Hon/Deflon/de Flou/de Flon. His death is s registered as Andrew De Hon in 1905 and his mother was Caroline. Here is the crew list of seaman on the "Peter Maxwell" He has been indexed as Andrew Z de Hon aged 34 Seaman from Sweden http://mariners.records.nsw.gov.au/1858/01/016pet.htm if you scroll down and click on the *scan* a digital image of the original crew list can be seen. His name is the 10th on the list I read his entry as Andrew F de Hon aged 24 from Sweden. A problem solved!
