    3. I have no idea of where Edward was when he may have graduated from High School. As long as I don`t know more I have to stick with that he was living "near Emerson ,Nebraska" since his mother was there in 1920 and up to 1927. Since he was born abt 1901 ,he should have graduated abt 1918-1919. -----Opprinnelig melding----- Fra: Barbara Young [mailto:bayofcc@comcast.net] Sendt: 30. april 2015 15:32 Til: Erik Hov; norway@rootsweb.com Emne: Re: [NOR] Edward Olson born abt 1901 in Nebraska Hi Erik, I you can guess at the years he may graduated from High School and the location where he may have been at that time, you could find him the their Year Book and might get some leads from that. Often they put in what his goals were or what he was going to do after graduation - might mention a school of higher learning or join the military - any number of things. He would probably have been about 17 or 18 years of age upon graduation. 3. Don’t know if this is your Edward, but he would have been around twenty years old at the time of this marriage. Being an employee of the railroad would also explain him moving around. 3. Would be great if this is Edward. I am onto checking Jeanette and her family and try to find them in 1930. (Edward`s brother Tony Olson also had a son named Edward born in 1922 ,so that might be an indication on that Edward born abt 1901 died early ,and that the younger Edward was named after him ,but I can`t be sure on that) Seems like Louis O. Kingdon and wife Mary are listed twice in the 1920 census ,both in North Platte and in East Hinman ,NE. -----Opprinnelig melding----- Fra: norway-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:norway-bounces@rootsweb.com] På vegne av Mark Erickson via Sendt: 30. april 2015 18:50 Til: norway@rootsweb.com Emne: Re: [NOR] Edward Olson born abt 1901 in Nebraska Don’t know if this is your Edward, but he would have been around twenty years old at the time of this marriage. 3. Have been looking around at ancestry.com for Jeanette Sollars. I did find her ,but not her husband Edward. I found her in a tree ,and It looks like she was born in Schuyler ,Colfax County ,NE 6 Feb 1900 and died in Sterling ,Logan County ,Colorado 10 May 1991 ,and was married before 1930 to Herbert Earl McKenzie ,born in Yorktown ,Bureau County ,IL 16 Nov 1889 and died in Sterling ,CO 7 Apr 1965. They lived in Sterling ,CO in the 1930 and 1940 censuses ,but had no children ,and it is not listed any children in the tree or in the census to her and Edward Olson. Edward Olson isn`t mentioned in the tree either. On One great family tree it was listed that Edward`s name was Edward Herman Olson ,but it had no birth year or info for him. On another ancestry.com tree I found Edward Herman Olson born in 1897 in Sweden as the one who married Jeanette in 1921. The trees has no parents for this Edward Herman.... So ,unfortunately for me ,it seems that Mark`s possibility for my Edward Olson isn`t the right one (4 years off and born in Sweden) ,so guess I am back at the beginning.......
