    3. :-D Pucker Up! Kissing Wolves in Norway https://www.yahoo.com/travel/pucker-up-kissing-wolves-in-norway-116259534867.html I thought you all might find this article interesting; photos included. I've seen a couple of wold specials and documentaries from National Geographic and Nature on YouTube and think wolves are interesting creatures. The only thing that has me curious was this part of the article: " ... you have to be physically fit to meet the wolves — no joint injuries, under-18s or pregnant women are allowed. The wolves can sense if you are pregnant — which, he added, once proved embarrassing for a 16-year-old who was with her mother." I can well imagine wolves can smell if a woman is pregnant since their noses are every bit as sensitive as their descendants - dogs who are used to sniff out a whole lot of things from people to drugs to explosives to cancer to the chemical changes in a person's body that enable them to signal to someone that a person will shortly have an epileptic seizure. But..., what do wolves DO when they know a human female is pregnant? I've never seen or heard anything about that in the various documentaries about wolves or wolves-who-became-dogs. Does anyone on the Norway List know a lot more about wolves and their domestic-wild reaction(s) to pregnant human females...? Mange takk! Bev
