    3. Hi Elizabeth, Many years ago I was reading about lace making - I have my Swedish grandmother's lace making pillow and wanted to know more. As I recall, many Swedish women made lace and much of it was sold to the Belgians and Dutch. Clarke's mention of the name sounding like a Dutch name, brought it to mind and perhaps it might help with your search.
