    3. Dear Mark and other Listers! Thank you very much, Mark, for your message regarding the Reedsburg, WI newspapers. I will certainly try to see what they may have on George Hunt and his wives. However, I wonder, it was only towards the end of his life that George went to live near Ironton in Sauk Co., WI. He was in Westford township, Richland Co., WI from the mid-1860's until at least 1895 since in the 1895 state census it shows him still residing in this township, a household of three males, one born in Great Britain and two born in the US. Thus we may conclude that his third wife Harriet had died, and the two other males MAY have been the sons John and Thomas, although they both married in 1894(!). Then to my question: Could it be that Richland Center, WI had a county wide newspaper during the time period 1865-1900? If so, that would, if I understand correctly, be a more likely place to search for items regarding George Hunt and his 2nd and 3rd wives? Thanks again, Mark and others, for your great assistance in this matter! Very sincerely yours, Lars E.
