Dear Listers, Following up on my own suggestion I have found the death record for Helen Jean nee Cowie's mother: Name: Helen Alice Hinkleman Event Type: Death Event Date: 07 Oct 1952 Event Place: San Francisco, California, United States Birth Date: 21 May 1878 Birthplace: Unknown Gender: Female Father's Name: King However, getting original death records from San Francisco, CA is expensive and takes a long time... Lars, I found divorce decrees in the Seattle Sunday Times, Dec. 1, 1912 that mentioned Helen Alice Hinkelman from Samuel Ernest Hinkelman, nonsupport.
