    3. Easy peasy. Pete Scheuster is living in Pieceance Precicnt No 3, Rio Blanco county, Colorado in 1910. He is 44 and his 22 year old sister, Jessie, is living with him. Just a little trick spelling there. Kathy > On Mar 21, 2015, at 9:44 PM, Lars E. 3. Dear Mark, Kathy and other Listers! Thank you so very much for your great assistance looking for these "long lost" relatives of mine, and it is quite clear you, Kathy, have located Pete Schuster in Colorado. From the newspaper clippings that you sent me I take it he died at Rifle, Garfield Co., CO Feb. 14, 1915, but he had apparently been living both in Rio Blanco and Pitkin Cos., CO as well. Strange he never communicated with his family! By the way, I am still unable to find Pete mentioned in any census records! Now, as far as Mike Schuster is concerned, he will probably be harder to locate, or how is it with reporting that kind of "horse dealing" events in the old "Wild West"? I was told it happened in Montana that he was "lynched", but I guess it may have been in Wyoming or even elsewhere in the West? This Irene Lillian Rictor married George Anderberg 27 June, 1954 in Multnomah county Oregon. I am not familiar with this George Anderberg. Thanks so much for your help. 3. Here’s a pretty cool article about Fred C. Anderberg performing heroic deeds. http://tinyurl.com/omne7o4 20 Nov 1912 JAMESTOWN HAS FIRE AND SCARE …Fred C. Anderberg, passing near by, also saw the smoke and coming quickly to the barn, by rapid work alone saved the horses and cows. He led out four horses and two cows and then returned and after a struggle managed to get the last horse and cow loose while the burning boards and hay were falling about him.

    3. There is an Irene Lillian Anderberg on Find a Grave, born in 1915 (location not specified), died in 1995, buried in Polk County, Oregon, the only Anderberg buried in the county.  Seems like this COULD be her, considering her mother moved on to Tacoma. 3. additional help with this handwriting in Holt. This entry is on the left hand side, about halfway down. What is the "J" word heading and what does it mean? It is something about Peder Bache's wife, I think. This category shows up often, but the term is new to me, haven't seen it in other parishes. Aust-Agder fylke, Holt, Klokkerbok nr. 3. Thanks Violet. I know that one son, Theodore was born in Iowa in 1883 and he died in Walworth county, SD. He had a son Benjamin Riley Anderberg born 1908 and died 1954 in Walworth county. And he possibly had a son Donald L Anderberg who was born about 1930. There were at least 6 children born to Louis and Carrie and most of them lived in North Dakota, Minnesota, Illinois and Wisconsin. It has been very interesting tracking down all the descendants. 3. Hello again, Halvor, Cliff and Reina, I wanted to thank Halvor for posting the information below to Anne as this information also complements my data base of Norwegian Aliens and those who became naturalized and settled in NSW Australia. I have also contacted Anne and forwarded on to her copies of Peder Kristian and Rita Irene Anne Sletten's Alien Registration applications plus a couple of pages of related information. I also want to thank Cliff and Reina for their imput, without all the wonderful members of the "A" Team some of us less experienced souls researching Norwegian records would find it near impossible to locate the correct information. I have been a member of this list for some years now and enjoy reading others sharing their problems and the vast knowledge of those more experienced than I answering their requests. Many thanks again, sorry for the delay sending this reply. 3. I couldn’t find anything for Lillian in the newspapers, but I found some info on two of the other people you mentioned. Caroline Thorson (born in 1859 in Fillmore County, Minnesota) married Louis Anderberg before 1880 in York, Fillmore county, Minnesota. Carrie (Caroline) Anderberg died 13 Dec. 1936. Here’s a link to an article about her death. http://tinyurl.com/m2kbbtn Here’s a biography of Louis Anderberg from Iowa in 1897. It says he married Miss Carrie Thore, May 8, 1878. http://tinyurl.com/kgs34a5 The article says that a portrait of him may be seen on another page, but I wasn’t able to find one. Here’s the page 7 ad for him. http://tinyurl.com/mbf456n
