His grandfather had his name changed to Leslie Carl Smith. I do know that he had a brother named Floyd. I was told that Floyd moved to Illinois. Leslie Carl was born 5/8/1895 and was crushed under a car he was working on November 23 or 25 1958. Leslie Carl worked in the probation system in Missouri possibly Kansas City and married a woman Amy Ruth Irene Noble (she went by Irene) who his family did not approve of. They had two children Patricia Irene Smith and Lloyd Smith.
