Hi; Is there anyone on this list that's near Los Angeles? (City - rather than County) I have been tracing Madame Nordica's sister, Imogene. (Lillian Norton b. Farmington, Maine) I found Imogene's death date on-line through the Death Records site. I was excited!!! She died Feb 23 1924 as Imogene Castillo. She married Emilio/Emillio Castillo. They were in LA in 1920 Census. So I took a shot a death date and found it. I'd LOVE to get a copy of a death certificate to see if she was a "widow" or "wife" at the time of death. I did not find Emilio's death on the death date site. So I'm not sure if he was still alive, moved out of the LA area by the time he died - maybe later than she did. Sure would appreciate any help!
