I am tired so I hope this doesn't sound terse. Please - all listers, read messages and be careful about where you are sending your messages and responses. The original message below was forwarded to the list because it was sent to the request automated server. ie Norton-l-request instead of just Norton-l. This means only I see it and the mindless server. The subject includes the standard FW and I marked it as forwarded. Responses should go to the original sender, not the most recent. The original message came to me instead of the list and the response to the forwarded message came me instead of the list or the original sender. So communication is halted. My fault for taking the easy way out by forwarding the message. From now on, I will reply to the original sender to repost the message to the correct email address. Thanks. Eric Sorry about being terse, long day, family pet died, seasonal stress, that sort of thing. -----Original Message----- From: Scott Norton [mailto:snorton@sisna.com] Sent: Monday, December 15, 2003 9:02 PM To: Eric Norton Subject: RE: [NORTON] FW: David L. Norton You need to give dates and loactions for anybody to help. You might look at www.nortonfamily.net for Norton info. David Norton is prominent in the KY Nortons of 1784-1820. In addition Enoch is not far from some the this families names, Nimrod, Moses etc. I would also like to invite you to do a DNA test. We have a Norton DNA project that is linking Nortons everywhere. There are 3 ways it might help you. 1) If your DNA matches one of our other 15 family lines you know exactly where to look. 2) By posting your DNA numbers and history you will eventually link with someone new who take the DNA test. 3) We are pushing out DNA study into England to match with families there. There's more info here. http://www.nortonfamily.net/DNA.htm Let me know if you have questions.
