We are descendants of Rebecca Norton McDade who was born in either SC or Gwinnett Co., GA. Either way, her parents were Elias and Elizabeth Norton born in SC and moved to Gwinnett Co GA by the mid 1830's. I have never seen anyone mention Nortons from Georgia on the list.
