There is a Samuel Norton born 6 Mar 1718 in Durham, Middlesex, Conn. who married Molly Lucas 7 Mar 1740. This info is from Norton Family, 1909, p 39 Histo of Goshen, Conn. As others of my ancestors moved from Connecticut to upper New York State, it is possible this Samuel may have also. My connection is one of this Samuel's brothers, Ebenezer Norton, b. 30 Dec 1715. So, sadly, I do not have any of Samuel's descendants listed.
