If so, it would appear that we are related (at least my wife is, she is the 5th great grand daughter of William & Jemima). We just returned from Highlands, NC, the 133rd Norton Family Reunion on Whiteside Mountain. I would very much like to share research and compare notes. Also, I took photos of William & Jemima's grave in SC (near Walhalla) and Barak's (in Cashiers NC). I can scan and email them to you. You mention a "Mercer Norton Book". Is it still in print and available? If so, how can I obtain one? Is it your belief that William (married to Jemima) is not the brother of Mercer?? Scott Morris
