Norton [b. 1799]...who married Rosetta Howe [aka Brown] in Cornwall in 1827. These two are supposed to have ancestral lines in Litchfield CT. They are believed to be related. In reply.... He married his cousin, Rhoda Norton. This Zebul traces his ancestry back through David and Suza Bishop Norton Joseph Norton and Mary Champion John Norton and Hannah Peck John Norton and Hanna Stone Thomas Norton [see histories of Guilford, CT] This Norton ancestral line begins with Thomas and Grace Wells Norton, who came from England to Guilford CT in 1639. Many of the Norton descendants lived in Litchfield...and several went to Ohio. I'd like to hear more from those of you tracing descendants of Thomas Norton--especially those who migrated to New York, and then to Ohio.
