Joyce: I read your message to Linda with interest. My father, Charles Norton - 1903-1980, was born in Alabama. His father, Charles Hadley Norton - 1872-1933, was also born in Alabama. We have traced Charles Hadley back to his father, a Johnny Norton, but that is all we know...... no dates, no parents, no siblings, no location, etc. Could this be the same Johnny you mentioned, who would be the son of L. P. Norton ??? My mother, who is 94 years old, remembers that Charles Hadley Norton was married to Georgia Free and she thinks that Johnny Norton was married to a Carol Kind ( or a name similar to that) Is there any tie-in ????
