In 1860 David Owen Norton's wife is listed as L. Norton (He could have re-married) but he has a 15 yr. old with the initial J. and a 13 yr. old with the initial M which would fit. He doesn't have a child with T. E. initial age 11. His brother is John Fletcher Norton so the J. F. would probably be correct. Henry Wilson Norton's wife was named Elizabeth but I'm not sure about the child. In 1860 she would have been 16 and maybe married which would explain the reason she wasn't listed on that census with them. Not sure about Malinda Carter. I will check further. Are you related?
