This Mariah's middle initial was V., possibly an indication of her maiden name. She was born in New Jersey about 1841, married an unknown Norton, and is known to have been in Clark County, Missouri, in November of 1875 when she remarried and moved to Van Buren County, Iowa, with her new husband.
