Some messages sent to the Norton List are ones automatically forwarded from Rootsweb Gen Boards. These boards are accessed through the Web by browser. Anyone can access these boards, not just Listmembers. So when replying to these messages, please consider that the sender may not be a listmember and will therefore not see your message. Feel free to reply to the list but also carbon copy the sender. Or click on the URL in the body of the message to reply via the Board. Messages that are gatewayed begin with ... 'This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.' These messages are gatewayed to allow people who don't know of the list, the opportunity to share and receive help from those on the list.
