Hello, I am looking to find any information about Patrick NORTON who was in Virginia in the early to mid-1600s and was the father of Penelope "Nelly" NORTON who married Matthew KELLY, born: Abt. 1640 in ?/VA?/England?, who were the parents of (Captain) John KELLY, born: Abt. 1660, 1st husband of Amy DONIPHAN, (daughter of Amie/Aimee/Amy PARTRIDGE and (Captain) Alexander DONIPHAN, Sr. whose 2nd wife was Margaret MOTT and his 3rd wife was Susannah ? Amy DONIPHAN married 2nd husband, Edward RANSDELL. Aimee/Amie/Amy PARTRIDGE was the sister of Samuel, Sarah, Elizabeth and Mary PARTRIDGE for whom I am also searching for information on their parents. They are believed to most likely be related to immigrant, George PARTRIDGE, who immigrated in the early 1600s from England to New England and Aimee/Amie/Amy PARTRIDGE and her siblings were also immigrants from England to Virginia. I have only just this past week received word about Penelope "Nelly" NORTON's maiden name of NORTON and her father being Patrick NORTON and no information regarding her mother's name, siblings, or ancestors in the NORTON lineage.
