    2. Scott, Can you tell me any more about WILLIAM NORTON whose descendants were living in Horry Co, SC? We have still not gotten to SC to look further for DR. SAMUEL EDWIN NORTON'S parents, but hope to do so during the year. Samuel had an elder brother named WILLIAM who was said to have been a seaman of some sort. WILLIAM would have been born sometime before 1816 when SAMUEL was born, and he could have been named for the father, as I still don't know the parents' names. Common names in the family were KATHERINE, ANNE, WILLIAM, JOHN, JAMES, SAMUEL, WALTER and CHARLES. There was at least one set of identical twins among SAMUEL's family. Fingers still crossed.
