Hello, I am still searching for information regarding my immigrant paternal 9th great grandfather, Patrick NORTON, information I have seen approximates the date he was born in Abt. 1641 but not totally sure on that date and whose wife was named Margaret ? and they are known to have had a son named Thomas NORTON and a daughter named Penelope "Nelly" NORTON, and she married Matthew KELLY, born: Abt. 1640 probably in Virginia, and they were the parents of (Captain) John KELLY, born: Abt. 1660, who married Amy DONIPHAN, born: Abt. 1662, daughter of Amie PARTRIDGE, born: Abt. 1696, and (Captain) Alexander DONIPHAN, Sr.. Patrick and Margaret's daughter, Penelope "Nelly" NORTON, later married 2nd husband, Lawrence BAKER, but I don't have any other information on him. And Amy DONIPHAN's 2nd husband was Edward RANSDELL. Patrick NORTON lived in Old Rappahannock County, Virginia, later part of Richmond County, Virginia, and he was associated with individuals named SULLIVAN(T)/SWILLIVENT, BURRAGE, CLARK, LENTON, DOWTY, JEFFRIES, BELL and CARMELL.
