My Norton line goes back through Edward Norton born 1715-1720 in Armagh, Ulster, North Ireland who emmigrated to Chester Co., PA before 1739 since he was married at the Nottingham Monthly Meeting 16 0ct 1739 to Elizabeth Brown. His father was Edward Norton married to Jane Grimes Rose also of Armagh. My wife has a Thomas Norton line that we have tried to connect for years. He was born 1804 in SC, died in 1875 and is buried in Jasper, Pickens Co., Ga. His wife's name was Margaret(no last name) and she was born in TN. They only had one son Samuel M born in 1828. The rest of the children were girls. I believe you stated that the test you used was for the male side of the familly only. Do you have anyone who has tested that might be a match to the Thomas Norton I have described? Thanks for any leads. If your Norton line matches the Edward line I have described I will be happy to swap info. Barry
