I don't know much about him, just that he had a son named Thomas who married a woman with the surname Hewitt. They had a daughter named Jennie (Jeanette?) Norton who was born in 1850 in NY (most likely Clinton County). I'm just getting started with my Norton family tree and don't yet know when they immigrated to this country.
