I have two questions regarding this family and would appreciate any answers or comments. (1) How certain are we that this Francis was identical with the Francis Norton, son of William and Dionysia / Dionis of Sharpenhoe, Bedfordshire, mentioned in William's 1622 will? (2) What evidence do we have that identifies Dionysia, the wife of William Norton of Sharpenhoe, as a CHOLMELEY and how well supported is the Cholmeley family's connection to the royal Plantagenet family? Any information on these two questions would be greatly appreciated.
