What can DNA show? 1) We have been able to prove the paper research for the Norton's of Bourbon, Greenup and Pendleton Kentucky as well as confirm an unknown relationship there. We have identified that the Norton family of Grant, KY is not related. 2) In addition we have found suprising results with the Nortons of Horry and Marion SC. Linking two families that did not know they had a common relative. 3) We have a match with NC Nortons. 4) We have samples from an Irish Norton and a Martha's Vineyard Norton. We need to establish a DNA signature for the Conetticut Nortons. Soon you will be able to submit your DNA test and find out which of the Norton branches you belong to.
