Bob Norton & the list, I have NORTONs on Long Island around the same time. Phoebe Norton married Daniel ROBINSON 6 Jan 1753 at Millers Place (perhaps in Smithtown), near to Brookhaven. Their son Jonathan Robinson (born 4 Jul 1754, at Miller Place) is my ancestor. I think there was also a daughter named Jemima who married Benjamin Raynor in 1777 (both persons noted as "of St. George Manor"). I have never been able to connect Phoebe Norton Robinson her to any Norton family. Has anyone come across a daughter Phoebe Norton born around 1730?
