I am seeking information on Ephraim, or sometimes used Edward, NORTON. He was born ca 1818 in Tennessee, married Mary ESTEP, born ca 1817 Virginia. I believe they started migrating and it is the family on the 1840 Jackson County, Alabama census. By 1850 the family is living in Madison County, Arkansas; by 1860 in Carroll County, Arkansas and they were in Christian County, Missouri listed on the 1870 census, where the family stayed and raised their children.
